We’re proud to announce that Guesty and Supplied are joining forces to simplify digital platform reporting for short-term rental businesses — from collecting the right information to preparing and submitting reports to the relevant tax authorities.

Guesty as the operational foundation

Guesty is the AI platform for short-term rentals, where a coordinated system of AI agents works across revenue, guest communication, operations, and finance so property managers and hosts can grow without growing complexity. Trained on more than a decade of real STR operations data, Guesty's agents don't just suggest actions, they carry them out, with you in control.

Guesty has the largest R&D team in the industry, having shipped more than 300 product features in 2026, and is the engine inside 500,000+ properties across 100+ countries. The company is integrated with every major OTA, including Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Expedia, Tripadvisor, Hopper, Google Travel, and Homes & Villas by Marriott.

Engineered for global operators, the platform runs under rigorous data governance requirements, providing the industry's most trusted, compliance-certified infrastructure.

Backed by $410 million in funding from KKR, Apax Digital Fund, Inovia Capital, DFO Management, Sixth Street Growth, Viola Growth, and Flashpoint, Guesty's global team is pioneering the agentic era of hospitality, building what comes after tools.

The challenge of short-term rental reporting

For short-term rental businesses with digital platform reporting obligations, Guesty already holds much of the operational information needed for tax reporting, including data about property owners, listings, reservations and payouts.

However, this is only part of the compliance puzzle. The EU’s DAC7 rules and related regimes built around the OECD Model Reporting Rules for Digital Platforms require in-scope platform operators to collect and report specific information about reportable sellers and relevant activities, including property rentals.

This includes information already stored in Guesty, as well as additional details such as an owner’s tax identification number (TIN), tax residence and, where required, place of birth. Using Guesty does not by itself determine whether a business has a reporting obligation: the operator’s role, activities and applicable jurisdiction matter.

As a result, businesses with reporting obligations need to collect information from multiple sources, identify and resolve missing or inconsistent data, verify details and ensure everything is prepared in the correct format for reporting. And that’s before accounting for the additional complexity of managing obligations across multiple jurisdictions.

Simplifying compliance with Guesty and Supplied

The Guesty and Supplied partnership is designed to make this process easier.

Supplied connects to your existing Guesty data and other relevant data sources, bringing the information needed for reporting together in one place. It helps identify missing information, collect outstanding details, flag potential data issues and validate information before guiding you through the reporting process — from data collection to report preparation and submission.

Our shared goal? Less time chasing information and managing reporting requirements manually, and more confidence in your reporting process.

How does it work in practice?

Our step-by-step guide walks through connecting Guesty to Supplied, collecting and checking missing owner information, and preparing and submitting your reports.
